Useful information

  • Quality, safety and security

    Lorient South Brittany Airport is ISO 9001 certified and is audited annually by an independent certification body.

    The passengers are subject to security measures in accordance with the regulations.

  • Children

    A changing table and a play area are available in the terminal.

  • Items prohibited on board

    Scissors, knives or objects which by their appearance resemble a weapon are strictly prohibited on aircraft, either on the passengers themselves or in their hand luggage.

    According to regulations, any object removed the security check will be destroyed. You have however the possibility of putting your knives in your checked luggage.

  • ATM

    A "Credit Agricole" ATM is available in the Airport Terminal during openings hours.

  • Lithium ion batteries in the aircraft cabin

    For safety reasons, the Lithium ion batteries carry is regulated. Passengers must keep their Lithium ion batteries abord the aircraft, including their replacement batteries.

  • Regulation on Liquids, aerosols and gels

    The carriage of liquids, aerosols and gels into the security restricted area of an airport and onboard aircraft is controlled in accordance with current EU Security Requirements.

    Liquids in hand baggage

    When passing through airport security screening:

    • Liquids carried must be in a container of no more than 100ml (3.4 ounces)
    • All liquids should be carried in a single, transparent, re-sealable plastic bag of up to 20cm x 20cm with a total capacity of up to a litre.
    • You must be able to completely close the bag and be able to fit it in your hand baggage
    • The bag of liquids must be taken out of other hand baggage to be screened separately

    Baby food and milk

    If you are travelling with an infant you are allowed to carry as much baby milk, powdered milk, sterilised water and baby food as required for your flight, even if this exceeds the usual limit on liquids. These do not need to fit in the transparent bag but you should have them ready for inspection by airport security.

    Liquid medicines

    You are allowed to carry liquid medicine as required for your flight. The medicine does not need to fit in the transparent bag but you should have it ready for inspection by airport security.

  • Hand Luggage/Cabin Baggage

    You can carry one cabin bag with maximum plus 1 small bag onboard the aircraft (size & weight can be different according to the airlines you’re travelling on).

  • Checked Baggage

    It is recommanded to label your luggages inside and out with your name, destination address, email address and mobile number.
